It’s the major revelation that the textile major Raymond expects to see sales from the branded apparel to enhance up to four times from the present scenario over Rs 1,000 crores and it is expected to see the fabrics business to expand two times and that is almost 3,000 crores.

It is submitted by Mohit Dhanjal, Director Retail. It is quite sure about Raymond and it’s rapidly growing its empire, its presence is adding more to the company and expanding to other more regions and launching more new products using new techniques and methodologies.

It was explained by Dhanjal that at the launch of the social initiative of “Look Good, Do Good” company offered free of cost stitching of old trousers.

Currently Raymond derives about 65 percent of its field business from fabrics and about the almost 35% from the branded apparels.

Potential growth would also come from new and modernized stores present across the country.

Raymond which disclosed around 70 stores in the last year, he has now intension to open around 100 more stores in the present year.

This would include the ones in tier IV and V towns in India. The total Raymond stores operated by country are around 715. Out of which 660 are franchisees and the products have also reached to 17,000 versatile and multi brands outlets in almost 380 cities and towns.
