TexTrace, Keonn Collaborate On RFID Systems

Switzerland-based TexTrace has partnered with Barcelona, Spain-based Keonn — a provider of interactive retail systems — to develop advanced radio frequency identification (RFID) systems for apparel retailers. More retailers are looking for interactive retail displays and RFID-based interactive systems to aid with customer retention ,which has become more difficult as shoppers have become more technologically savvy. TexTrace incorporates RFID technology into woven brand labels for inventory tracking purposes, seamless security and brand authentication. These labels, coupled with Keonn’s AdvanLook interactive retail display and AdvanFitting system for fitting rooms can greatly improve the customer shopping experience and offers the store opportunities for cross-selling, according to the companies.
