International brands go for e-commerce course
E-commerce sites have flourished a lot across the globe that now it seems like a new evolving industry. The buyers should be happy for this news that many outstanding brands are now going to launch their new products on e-commerce sites. As there is more traffic and business on e-commerce sites.

Recently four big brands name Bjorn Borg, Drunknmumky, Replay and Rockland signed their business deal with amazon India and the purpose is to sale the products on Indian portal as Indian e-commerce industry is growing rapidly day by day. Another brand Aeropostale in future is going to sell its brand on amazon. Millions of products are now available on e-commerce sites including huge range of international brands.
There are certain factors which are involved in extra easy access of foreign brands to these e-commerce sites. There are no such restricted policies and rules explained for outsiders and lack of licenses are also claimed as the factor of more easy access. There is no security and restricted rule is applied on selling through third party portals. There are such brands who are just confined to certain cities and are not allowed to go beyond the certain premises but when these same brands approach these e-commerce sites so in real their exposure increases and they get the wider range for growth. This lack of obstacles is highly earned by international brands to experience their scope in Indian market.
Amazon is marked as highly demanded e-commerce platform for all and all type of consumers. Men and women apparels demand is quite high at this platform as the statistic shows that men’s apparel choice and selection has grown above 450 percent and women demand for European apparels has crossed 800 percent in past single year. There is name of huge list growing like Superdry, Gas, Quicksilver, Fossil, Steve Madden, The North Face and Brooks Brothers to Jeep. Different big names has launched their products on amazon for sale and one of the Swedish brand Bjorn Borg which has recently launched its leather sneaker collection and men’s inner wear this month. Drunknmunky a Californian brand is going to launch its sneaker and running shoes range for both men and women very soon.
Analysis by Assocham reveals that Indian e-commerce industry is going to reach to 38 billion dollars in 2016. This revenue is huge than the last year generated amount which was around 23 billion dollars.
Mumbai ranks first in online shopping then Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata. Maximum growth was seen in apparel segment which was about 69.5% and electronic items reached up to 62%, rest of the items including baby care products, beauty items and home furnishing are below 60%. So that’s all about the e-commerce progress and rapid growth.
